The Brambletye Autumn Concert was a roaring success, showcasing all our ensembles from the Brambletye Symphony Orchestra to the Beginners’ Band.
Highlights included the opening ‘Samba de Janeiro’ featuring all Year 8 and the Big Band;  the Senior Choir’s tragicomic rendition of ‘There’s a Girl that I Love’; and Tina’s virtuoso performance of Monti’s Czardas, accompanied by a piano quintet made up entirely of pupils.
The retiring collection raised over £700 for this year’s school charity Hope and Homes for Children.  It was an uplifting show and both the audience and perforerse went home with beaming smiles, buzzing with the joy of music.
