Activity Programme
The learning that happens outside the classroom is as valuable as that within.
The driving principle behind the Activities programme is to allow children to have access to as wide a variety of opportunities as possible to develop key skills and intelligences outside the national curriculum. Staff members offer activities that promote their particular passions away from the classroom; sculpting, story-telling, moth-trapping, cooking and survival-skills. We also bring in specialist instructors to cater for sports such as taekwondo, sailing, clay pigeon shooting as well as our very successful Speech and Drama programme that prepares children to sit a LAMDA examination to add to their portfolio of achievements.
Behind the whole programme is the objective to bring a joy to the pupils’ time here at Brambletye whilst exposing them to new and unique opportunities and experiences that they wouldn’t get anywhere else.
