Pastoral
Everyone at Brambletye, the teachers, houseparents, matrons, administrative and grounds staff are involved in the pastoral care of each child. Their wellbeing is the very core of our school. We feel that true academic success can only be achieved when built on foundations of happiness. We have a multi-tiered pastoral system involving form tutors, housemasters, houseparents and boarding staff. Children meet as a group with staff every day giving them the opportunity to discuss aspirations, achievements and anxieties.
The Headmaster’s door is always open to children, whether they want to tell him a piece of news or something that is on their mind. These excellent relationships between adults and children create a happy atmosphere in which each child is helped to grow in confidence, make positive contributions to the life of the school and perhaps most importantly, to have fun.
