Mr Holden said “Belle’s success in winning an Art Scholarship to Eastbourne College is a result of her magnificent efforts and how she has taken on board the key disciplines of observational drawing and acrylic painting, design practice using traditional processes, all combined with contemporary ideas and skills. Belle has created a body of work which defies conventional categorisation for her age, and the Art department has opened her eyes to new creative paths which she has grasped with both hands to develop her creativity to Scholarship level. The time she has dedicated to a subject she loves deserves full credit. Well done Belle.“
