Welcome to Brambletye Nursery: A Place of Discovery and Joy
From September 2026, our Nursery will be open 50 weeks a year. Families may choose a term time only or a full year attendance, with the option to add sessions on an ad hoc basis if there is availability. For more information, please contact kfleming@brambletye.com.
Our Philosophy
We know that often Nursery is the first step out of the family circle for our youngest children and our team are on hand to gently guide, comfort, and reassure, creating a loving environment where every child feels secure and cared for. These early years are vital in a child’s education, and we are proud to be part of their development at Brambletye.
Our Nursery is a nurturing and exciting environment for children to start their educational journey. We focus on fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence, helping each child to flourish and grow at their own pace, through days filled with exploration and joy.
With an emphasis on emotional, social, and physical development, we lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning which continues through your child’s Brambletye journey. We place great value on our partnership with parents and encourage regular visits and events to strengthen our community.
Our purpose-built classrooms are designed to inspire curiosity and exploration, with cosy reading corners and role-play areas. Each classroom opens to a large outdoor area for year-round outdoor learning, where children can jump, run, and play while observing wildlife and experiencing the wonders of each season’s nature, build fairy gardens, construct dens and develop their imaginative play.
Vitally, our Nursery department is located in the heart of our Pre-Prep building. This integration promotes a sense of community as children interact with older pupils and participate in school-wide events such as assemblies, concerts and special events. This provides a seamless transition to our Reception classes when the time comes to move on from Nursery.
