Brambletye is celebrating another year of exceptional success in the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) examinations. Every one of the 100 Prep School pupils who took their exams in the Summer Term achieved a distinction — an extraordinary accomplishment that reflects both their talent and hard work.
A particular highlight was the performance of Beatrice, who was awarded a perfect score of 100%. Beatrice, then in Year 2 in the Pre-Prep, achieved this remarkable result at an impressively young age, earning special recognition from both staff and peers.
This year’s results also mark a poignant moment of transition, as the school bids farewell to Alison Dawson, who has recently left Brambletye after more than 15 years of dedicated teaching. When Alison first introduced LAMDA at the school, just 10 pupils participated in the exams. Today, the number has grown to 100, with results of the very highest standard.
Alison has inspired generations of Brambletye pupils to discover a love of drama, communication and performance. The school is deeply grateful for her commitment and enthusiasm, which have helped to nurture such outstanding achievements, and wishes her every success for the future.
