Brambletye pupils are celebrating an extraordinary achievement this year, securing a record-breaking 38 Scholarships and 1 Award to their chosen Senior Schools – the highest number ever awarded in the school’s history.
The awards highlight the breadth and depth of talent across the school, with scholarships spanning a wide range of disciplines: 19 in art, 5 academic, 5 drama, 4 music, 3 sport, 2 all-rounder and 1 in design technology.
In total, scholarship pupils will be moving on to 17 different Senior Schools, including some of the most prestigious in the country. Among the destinations are Ardingly College, Brighton College, Charterhouse, Downe House, Harrow School, The King’s School Canterbury, Millfield, Queen Anne’s Caversham, Rugby School, Sevenoaks, Sherborne Girls, Thomas’s College, Uppingham, Woldingham and Worth.
Headmaster Mr Brooks praised the pupils’ achievements, saying:
