Many congratulations to Lucas, who has been awarded an Art Scholarship to Charterhouse.
Lucas is a naturally gifted and talented artist who has gone from strength to strength since starting his Scholarship preparation at the beginning of Year 7. He draws with flair, freehand, making marks that come with instinct. He paints with extreme passion, taking risks with his chosen media. His outcomes are unreal, surreal, unique and of GCSE standard. I highlight his self-portraits which he produced when asked to portray his true character as an artist, brave, risky, dynamic, and influenced by Salvador Dali, and executed by one of the strongest upcoming artists to develop through the Brambletye Art department.
