Georgie’s Art Scholarship to Charterhouse means the absolute world to her. In the build-up to the assessment day, she was extremely nervous, which is natural for an artist who cares so much about her art and her future.
Her portfolio consisted of five units of work, which were narrated to demonstrate her thought-provoking ideas from both teacher-led and self-initiated starting points. Her coursework on the day of the Art Scholarship soon settled her nerves and did the talking for her.
The A1 observational drawing she produced on the day at Charterhouse was outstanding and proved her independence as an Art Scholar. We have believed in her since she started her journey in Year 6.
