Mr Holden said “Ida’s Art Scholarship portfolio demonstrates a clear understanding of materials and their transformation potential. She has explored given and self-initiated themes basing her ideas around Nature and Still life with reference to her favourite artists Jackson Pollock and David Shephard. The incorporation of two-dimensional mark-making skills converted to three-dimensional clay sculptures is unique and evokes a sense of development of personal narratives which tell a great story. Ida deserves full credit for her outstanding achievement. Well done Ida.”
