Many congratulations to Arthur, who has been awarded an Academic Scholarship to Brighton College.
Arthur combined an acutely sharp brain with a very strong work ethic and thoroughly deserves this most prestigious award. The requirements to achieve a Brighton Academic Scholarship are some of the highest and he adopted a very mature and self guided
approach to his study. Rather than just being steered towards his goal, he came to meet the challenge head on. Arthur showed much ability in analysing unseen material and his overall interest in gaining knowledge of the world around him stood him in good stead. He has a very bright future ahead of him and we are all very proud of what he has achieved. Well done, Arthur. Mr Gomm.
