Teacher of Music - For Summer (April) or Autumn (Late August) Term 2025 Start

We are looking for an exceptional, talented, and accomplished musician to join our renowned Music Department, who is capable of providing outstanding learning experiences as a teacher and to support our Director of Music in providing an ambitious music programme to stretch and challenge our most able musicians, whilst encouraging and fostering a culture of musical enjoyment for all.

The successful applicant will be required to teach class music lessons to a wide age and ability range of pupils as well as support the Music Department in all aspects of co-curricular activities e.g. lead weekly instrumental, orchestral, and choral rehearsals ensembles, accompany ABRSM examinations, support the organisation of daily instrumental lessons by Visiting Music Teachers, assist with music performances for concerts, musical shows, Chapel services and school events as and when required.

This position provides a fantastic opportunity to work in a school that loves, enjoys, and celebrates music, with highly motivated pupils, small classes along with incredibly supportive colleagues, management, and parents.

In recruiting for this position, we are taking a very open and flexible approach in who we are looking for.  With this in mind we would consider applications from applicants who want to work full-time, part-time or as part of a job share, and we would welcome applications from ECT’s who are just embarking on their teaching career through to more experienced teachers who are looking to work part-time.

Estates Team Member - Flexible Start Date

We currently have a rare opportunity to join our highly regarded Estates Team.

The Estates Team Member role at Brambletye is a crucial position in assisting to ensure that the school buildings, site, and grounds are maintained throughout to the highest standard. From carrying out general maintenance or more advanced repairs, or upgrades on our buildings, to marking out pitches, mowing the grass and general countryside management.  This is a varied and physical role, with excellent training and CPD opportunities.

Ideally, we would like the postholders to start with us as soon as possible, but we can be flexible regarding the start date if required. Please note that this is a full-time, all year-round position.

International Gap Assistant at Brambletye School

Our International Gap Assistants join us on a one year contract every January and are key members of the school community. An integral part of the Gap Assistant’s role is bringing their life experiences for our pupils to learn and benefit from, to broaden their horizons and to be excellent role models.

As a Gap Assistant you will be expected to demonstrate:

  • Leadership qualities.
  • To be a role model to our pupils by being hardworking, reliable and punctual, demonstrating honesty and integrity at all times, smart in appearance, support the aims of the School.
  • To develop and maintain appropriate relationships with both staff and pupils.

The role of Gap Assistant at Brambletye School is far from routine with no two days being the same. In order to be successful in this post you will need to:

  • Possess a real interest in children, particularly in their welfare and education.
  • Be prepared to be flexible in your approach to work.
  • Work hard and be adaptable.
  • Exercise enthusiasm and show initiative.
