Year 2 children read the Iron Man and took part in various Literacy activities including writing their own Iron Man descriptions, looking for speech marks from the text and writing a conversation between the Iron Man and the Space-Bat-Angel-Dragon using speech marks and speech bubbles.

For Art, Year 2 children cut up various letters of different sizes to create an Iron Man picture and of course they built a massive 3D Iron Man for DT.

For Book Week, pupils wrote a book review of the Iron Man and everyone agreed that they loved it!!! They then each wrote their own Iron Man adventure which will be made into a class book.

In ICT, children used a drawing programme to create their own Iron Man and inserted it into a word-processed file containing their own description of the Iron Man.
