Year 1 Trip to Standen

Year One visited Standen as part of their ‘Houses and Homes’ topic. The children all dressed up as children from the past. They had a guided tour of the house, learning about what life was like in homes over a hundred years ago. We looked at the William Morris patterns on display at the house and are currently designing our own. We sketched the house and explored the vegetable garden. The weather was perfect and we all had a great day!
