Success in the Horse of the Year Show

On Sunday 28 May a Y2 pupil from Brambletye Pre-Prep travelled to Widnes to compete in the first qualifier for the Horse of the Year show, the most prestigious horse show in the country, which is held at the NEC in October. There are only 18 qualification opportunities throughout the whole of the United Kingdom and approximately 2,500 children and ponies endeavour to qualify. The class that she competed was called Mountain & Moorland lead rein in which the upper age limit is 9 years old and she is currently only 6! We are over the moon that she won this first and most difficult qualifier and earned her place at the NEC.
