Brambletye has always been run along family lines. A happy, working relationship exists between staff and pupils. We believe that children who are happy and relaxed do well, and we expect them all to give their best. We place strong emphasis on high standards of manners and good behaviour. The principles of a Christian upbringing and worship are a major influence in the day to day activities of the School.
We accept that it our responsibility to find for all boys and girls an area or subject in which they can excel and gain confidence and self esteem. We aim to develop a happy, confident and well adjusted child, who works hard, enjoys drama, games and music, plays a part in some of the numerous societies and hobbies, and so takes a full share in the corporate life of the School. The children themselves play a part in the School’s organisation through the house system.
By consulting and encouraging them to make their own decisions, we believe that they are helped to form an independent character, a sense of respect and responsibility, and an enthusiasm for learning and living.

‘What a wonderful rounded school you have created which caters for all sorts of different types of pupils in all sorts of different ways. I think that the values of kindness, respect and manners which Brambletye seems built on are so important in achieving all of this and our children are very lucky to have their school life pinned to these principles. In many ways these are the most important qualities to learn.’
