Over the half term holidays, Jenny Connor (one of our French teachers) swam the distance of the English Channel (22 miles) in 2 days.  This is the equivalent of swimming 1416 lengths of a 25m pool, and it took her just over 11 hours to complete.  Jenny completed the swim to raise money for Asthma UK, in memory of Callum Tuckey.  Asthma UK is the charity dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the 5.4 million people in the UK whose lives are affected by asthma. So far, over £3300 has been raised for this very worthwhile charity.
