Seven Brambletye pupils represented Sussex in the National Athletics Championships in Birmingham on Monday 4th July, 2011.  All the pupils made it through the heats and into the finals and were therefore ranked in the top 8 in the country in their events.  The final positions were:

• Bronze in the U11 Boys hurdles
• 5th in 100m U12 Girls
• 4th in 200m U12 Girls (with a new school record of 28.17s)
• 5th in 200m U11 Boys
• 7th in U11 Girls Shot
• 9th in U12 Boys 1500m
• 4th in U12 4x100m relay
