The Governors of Brambletye are delighted to announce the appointment of Nigel Westlake as Headmaster, with effect from September 2012.

Nigel has been Headmaster at Packwood Haugh for eleven years, has taught several subjects, coached various teams including the 1st XV, directed plays, and has been fully involved in all areas of school life. His wife, Jo, is a musician and was Director of Music at Packwood Haugh. Jo enjoys working alongside Nigel and is looking forward to playing a full part in the life of the school at Brambletye.

Andrew Hynard, Chairman of Governors, said: “The calibre of the applicants for this important position was outstanding. Nigel’s success is a reflection of his achievements, vision and approach and we are delighted to be welcoming him and Jo to Brambletye.

Over the last fifteen years, Hugh and Lucy Cocke have done a brilliant job in creating such a successful, happy and vibrant School and we are certain that Nigel and Jo will ensure that Brambletye continues to thrive.”
Brambletye looks forward to welcoming Nigel, Jo and their two young sons, next September.

The family will be moving during the summer holidays although Nigel and Jo will be visiting Brambletye to meet pupils, parents, and staff over the next few months.
